Last Wednesday, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops began an unprecedented campaign encouraging all Catholics to oppose health-care reform that includes abortion funding.

In response, Planned Parenthood Federation’s president, Cecile Richards, has said that the bishops don’t represent all Catholics and is recruiting Catholics to contact their legislators to support the current health-care... READ MORE

Lifenews reports here that James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles, the two young people who posed as a pimp and a prostitute and covertly videotaped Acorn officials who counseled them on how to apply for federal funding for their prostitution activities, are committed pro-life advocates.

And O’Keefe got his start in making video exposés by collaborating with UCLA student Lila Rose in producing the... READ MORE

Or at least that’s the appearance given by a recent action by the Internal Revenue Service regarding an application for nonprofit status filed by the Coalition for Life of Iowa.

“When you’re out of political power, you start thinking about new ways to do things,” says Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote.org. “How do we continue to be relevant?”

Burch makes that comment in an April 1 Wall Street Journal article that spotlights his organization’s pro-life Barack Obama video.

The brief but powerful video, which according to WSJ has been viewed nearly 1.8 million... READ MORE

Hillary Clinton addresses a Planned Parenthood event in Washington, D.C., in July 2007. (Reuters)

Planned Parenthood is “honoring” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton today with its Margaret Sanger Award.

Mrs. Clinton, even for someone who is as strongly pro-abortion as you are, it’s a dishonor to be mentioned in the same breath with Sanger, who founded Planned Parenthood in 1916.

Why?

Because, even leaving aside the immense evil that Planned Parenthood engages in through its... READ MORE

Protest outside Planned Parenthood facility in Washington, D.C. (SIPA)

One of the abortion industry’s biggest problems is the fact that few medical students want anything to do with the life-destroying procedure.

Lesley Wojick was different, however.

The University of Maryland School of Medicine student is a member of Medical Students for Choice, and last year she organized a daylong seminar on abortion at the Johns Hopkins medical school that featured a talk by... READ MORE
