Last night on “The Late Show,” David Letterman confessed — in an extremely peculiar and awkward way — about having engaged in sexual acts with female employees of his show.

I have found half a dozen headlines about the murder of abortionist George Tiller that use the word “pro-life” to describe his suspected murderer or his associations.
“In regular news stories, they always use the term ‘anti-abortion,” said Brian Gibson, “Now they start calling the person who did this ‘pro-life,’ when he’s not. They’re rubbing our noses in the term.”

If it’s true that every presidential honeymoon period soon comes to an end, President Barack Obama is likely to find transitioning to less worshipful media coverage especially jarring.
Reuters reported Jan. 21 that Obama’s inauguration generated 35,000 stories in the world’s major media outlets.

Two New York-area bishops say The New York Times erred by implying it’s become easier for Catholics to vote for pro-abortion candidates.

The national news media gives intensive coverage to sexual abuse scandals involving Catholic clergy.
