Yesterday, President Obama did something radical: He proclaimed June “LGBT Pride” month.

This doesn’t just mean “tolerance for homosexuals month.” The T stands for “transgender.” The movement is clear that it wants men to be able to use women’s bathrooms, among other craziness. (See?)

The White House buried the news, and the media helped. But Obama said he wants to mainstream that... READ MORE

CNSNews.com reports that a group has filed a formal complaint with the Internal Revenue Service charging the diocese of Portland, Maine, with violating federal tax rules in the homosexual “marriage” fight.

An activist group for “transgendered” and “bisexuals,” as well as homosexuals, wants the Church’s nonprofit tax status revoked.

Empowering Spirits Foundation spokesman Tyler Davis is quoted... READ MORE

We never reported on the Omaha, Neb., Catholic elementary school that barred an 8-year-old boy because his parents — following the advice of an “expert” — refused to dress him as a boy.

In “Boys Will be Girls?” the Register reported on just that brand of bad advice.

In this case, “The child is welcomed to come, but it would not be acceptable to change the child’s gender and present as a... READ MORE

Logo of the state website.

The fix is on. “A year from now, half of the state will believe the opposite of what happened” in Connecticut when two activist legislators pushed a bill to co-opt the Church.

They “have embarrassed themselves and the state of Connecticut”  said Archbishop Henry Mansell. Even the Vatican’s newspaper, weighed in on the scandalL’Osservatore Romano brought international attention to... READ MORE

CT vs. Separate Bathrooms?

CT.Gov features this "transgendered" symbol.

Catholics stopped their effort to restructure parishes.

Their “S.B. 899” is still pushing for more Connecticut government efforts like these that re-interpret the Bible and undermine parental rights.

Now, a hearing looms tomorrow over their effort to let men in women’s restrooms. I kid you not. More on that in a second.

Lawlor & McDonald’s Judiciary Committee continues its strange attempt to... READ MORE

CT.gov: Religion and Politics

At CT.Gov, this "gay Christian fish" can symbolize SB 899.

An official at the Connecticut Department of Children and Families told me yesterday he plans to take down the more egregious pages at CT.gov—but has not yet done so.

I’ve got some more they ought to look at: It turns out the site also provides direct links to political action groups.

The Register broke the story that CT.gov is giving the public a preview of what the state’s new “SB 899”... READ MORE
