The Eucharistic Miracle from Lanciano, Italy (A.D. 750)

If reports from Poland are true, an alleged Eucharistic miracle that took place a year ago may have merit.

According to a Polish blog, the Metropolitan Curia of Bialystok has announced the results of the investigation of an Ecclesial Commission appointed by Archbishop Edward Ozorowski on March 30, 2009. The original post (in Polish) can be found here.

Father Andrzej Kakareko, Chancellor, writes... READ MORE

A Daily Blog update of last week’s second entry about the offensive videos can be viewed here.

But as Time magazine recently noted on its website, YouTube also provides tremendous opportunities for evangelization.

“But the video-sharing site is also being used by a wildly... READ MORE

Responding to a flood of complaints from Catholics, YouTube today removed 40 videos of desecrations of the Holy Eucharist from its website.

A video removal petition was circulated Sept. 23 by the Catholic group America Needs Fatima, the group said in a press release.

The Catholic group said 18,201 people signed the petition.... READ MORE

YouTube’s Double Standard?

Friday, September 26, 2008 10:47 AM

An anti-Catholic bias appears to be in place at the popular YouTube Internet video site.

The Headline Bistro news service reported Sept. 26 that “outrage is growing as the site has become home to a string of videos depicting acts of Eucharistic desecration, including flushing a host down the toilet, putting one in a blender, feeding one to animals, shooting one with a nail gun and...
