The inventive continue to come up with new techie ways to spread the Gospel. You can get the Bible on a USB. You can have a verse a day sent to your iPhone or mobile phone. And now, there’s the “Twitter Bible,” which summarizes the over 31,000 verse Bible into nearly 4,000 short-form tweets.

The text of the Codex Sinaiticus, which dates from the fourth century and is the oldest known Bible in existence, can now be viewed online.
The online version is the result of a collaboration between the British Library, the National Library of Russia, Liepzig University Library and the Holy Monastery of St. Catherine at Mount Sinai.

Lots of media attention was generated by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople’s Oct. 18 address to the Synod of Bishops on the Word of God.
