Lesley Wojick was different, however.
The University of Maryland School of Medicine student is a member of Medical Students for Choice, and last year she organized a daylong seminar on abortion at the Johns Hopkins medical school that featured a talk by... READ MORE

“It might seem like things are bleak and getting bleaker.” So begins the first editorial in our “Hope for America” series.
“The truth is, there are several things we can do to either ensure that this is the first step of a crushing defeat on the one hand, or the beginning of a new victory on the other.” Readers of “Our President” and this week’s Letters will know where that “first step of a... READ MORE

St. Benedict’s philosophy of Ora et Labora — pray and work — has served as the foundation of Catholic religious life for nearly 1,500 years.
We’d like to suggest it also must serve as the foundation for the pro-life movement as it girds for the challenge of a pro-abortion Barack Obama presidency.
The Register’s post-election issues will feature coverage of ways that pro-lifers can... READ MORE
