New: Catholic Mom 'Facebook'

Go check out Faith & Family LIVE! — faithandfamilylive.com. It’s the website for Faith & Family magazine (where I’m editorial co-director), but it’s way more than that.
Danielle Bean runs the site and has launched an online social networking component.
As she says in her introduction: “It’s like Facebook on a smaller, more intimate scale — just for Catholic moms.”
Here’s what that means:
“At Faith and Family Connect, you can set up your own page/profile where you can chat with other moms, post your own blog posts, share photos and videos, and join discussions in the forum. Creating a profile does not commit you to anything and you always control your privacy settings. You can participate and share as much or as little as you like.
“I hope you will create your profile and check it out today. Take your time and click around to get used to things over there. It always takes some time getting used to a new cyber-spot, but I guarantee you will wind up feeling at home.
“None of these new changes means the Faith and Family Live blog is going away, though. We’re still here on the home page and we’ll still be updating daily, just as we always have. If you prefer to read the blog as it was on the old site, click the ‘blog’ tab at the top of the home page — which brings you to a page that features just the blog.”
