The text of the Codex Sinaiticus, which dates from the fourth century and is the oldest known Bible in existence, can now be viewed online.

The online version is the result of a collaboration between the British Library, the National Library of Russia, Liepzig University Library and the Holy Monastery of St. Catherine at Mount Sinai.

Comprised of digitized versions of the Codex Sinaiticus, the online version “includes full transcription of the handwritten text, including the revisions and corrections that were made to the text, according to this report by CTV.ca.

The Greek text can be seen with in English, German, Greek and Russian translations at codexsinaiticus.org.
