In this U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops video, Dom DeLuise discusses his devotion to Mary.

The Catholic actor died last night in Santa Monica, Calif., after battling cancer for more than a year, CNN reported. He was 75.

The Brooklyn-born DeLuise was noted for his movie portrayals of comic characters. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, actress Carol Arthur, and the couple’s three sons, Peter, Michael and David.
