Yesterday, I shared The Hunt for Gollum. Today: Dale Ahlquist’s Manalive ... with Mark Shea and Kevin O’Brien being funny and disturbing. Mostly disturbing.

Here’s the website for that movie.  And here’s the cool trivia from that website:

1- The budget for Manalive is $100,000

2- G.K. Chesterton’s classic book “Manalive” was published in 1912 and took place mostly in England. But the movie is set in modern times in an ambiguous “anywhere and nowhere” location.

3- The Manalive poster was designed by John Herreid, the same man who designed the poster for the two-part CBS movie, “John Paul II.”

4- Moonhunt Productions, the production company behind Manalive, was formed by Dale Ahlquist and Joey Odendahl in August of 2008. Manalive is to be their first feature.

5- Not only will the cast and crew be shooting most of Manalive at The Galloway House in Savannah, but they’ll also be lodging there.
