Carrie’s Pro-Marriage Video

Miss USA runner-up Carrie Prejean is featured in this new video released today by the National Organization of Marriage.

One of the most upside-down aspects of the media-generated controversy over the California beauty queen’s pro-traditional marriage comments at the Miss USA pageant is that pageant organizers are blaming her for allegedly taking a “polarizing” position on the marriage issue.

Hold on a moment here: The same-sex “marriage” issue was introduced into the pageant by a homosexual judge, whom the organizers allowed to pose a loaded question regarding Carrie’s views about how marriage should be defined. She was gracious in replying that while she didn’t want to give offense to anyone, like a majority of Californians and the majority of Americans, she believes marriage involves only one man and one woman.

And even in the face of the homosexual judge’s personal and nasty invective about her principled reply — which likely cost her the Miss USA crown — Carrie has remained gracious and kind in her response to his unwarranted comments.

By doing so, she has demonstrated she is a most attractive spokeswoman for the cause of defending the authentic definition of marriage against the homosexual lobby’s destructive effort to legally redefine marriage to include same-sex relationships.

Update: Go here to read an April 30 statement given by Carrie Prejean about where she stands on marriage, delivered in conjunction with the launch of the “No Offense” video ad.
