Bill Clinton Doesn’t Get It

As this video demonstrates, the former president is stunningly ignorant about the life-destroying realities of embryonic stem-cell research.

Go here for a superb dissection of Clinton’s confusion, posted by Register correspondent Steven D. Greydanus at JimmyAkin.org.

How could Clinton be so obtuse on this subject, you ask? As Greydanus writes, “This is a Rhodes scholar and a two-term president, a man who claims to have thought seriously about life issues — who has signed (and vetoed) legislation on life issues?”

Willful ignorance is certainly a possibility for Clinton’s “jaw-dropping” ignorance, but it could also be a consequence of the abortion lobby’s success in disseminating double-speak.

That is, when a mind becomes clogged with too many thickets of deceptive euphemisms like “choice” and “reproductive rights,” even someone as bright as Bill Clinton eventually will become unable to discern a forest of fertilized human embryos through the trees of pro-abortion deceptions.
