Regarding the Vatican Insider report on the Shroud of Turin: has there ever been a study, conducted by a qualified geochemist or similar specialist, of the interior stone of the tomb of Jesus, to see if there are any anomalies, or possible residual physical effects of the Resurrection, similar to what produced the image on the Shroud?

How many people have ever met an “expert”? None, right!!  This image was not caused by anything natural or explainable, as it was caused by the Holy Spirit to keep man guessing and guessing. Just another person trying to make a name for themselves.  +JMJ+

There is nothing inherently contradictory in the idea of a supernatural event leaving genuine physical, earthly traces behind it. After all, the Annunciation was followed by the birth of a physically incarnate Savior (unless your an Arian, of course). And I, for one, find the idea that it takes some high-level physics to account for the physical image on the Shroud, as a byproduct of the Resurrection, to be a wonderful reflection of the glory of God!

Having read every book on the Shroud-both those opposed and those positive, I believe it is absolutely not a fake! I think it very reasonable to believe the Apostles would have taken the Shroud and face cloth of Jesus to preserve.  Even they could not have known what it contained.  I believe the Shroud to be The PHYSICAL PROOF of Jesus’ resurrection from Death! If you take the time to read about it with an open mind-there could be no other conclusion!  And, if the image was produced by radiation at that moment of resurrection-who else but Jesus rose from death 2000 years ago, that you know of ?!!

The shroud of Turin is one of the most scientifically studied artifacts on earth.
It all started in 1898 when segundo pia took the first photographs of the shroud and when he looked on his negative plate and saw a positive image he was so shocked that he almost dropped the plate.

There are so many unique aspects of the shroud that I can’t name them all in one post.
Forensic science has determined that the image was madeby a crucified body once you determine this, the next question that is asked is why aren’t there any side body images on the shroud? Couple this with the fact that the shroud is the only 2d image on earth that contains 3d information gets you closer to solving one piece if the puzzle. John Jackson and other scientists have determined that the 3d spatial information found in the image will dissipate after 10 centimeters. This tells me that the mechanism that caused this image on the shroud was no greater than 10centimeters away from it, plus it was formed by non contact.

What does this mean? It means that the body had to have hovering in between the inside top of the shroud and the inside bottom of the shroud. In other words no gravity present.
The image formation mechanism had to have come from the body of the man himself.
On top of that there is xray information on the skull, inner mouth , hands and wrist area .
I have been studying the shroud now for more than 3 years.

There are hundreds if scientific peer reviewed research articles, but you won’t see the majority of the temper tantrum atheists on here studying them. The shroud is an amazing boost to the believer and it exposes the mileage atheist for what they truely are. If you see atheists argue against the shroud they will usually pull up old articles from non peer reviewed sources like Joe nickell and Walter mccrone which have been debunked years ago.

With the shroud you will see atheists throw away the scientific method, logic and reason in favor of pseudoscientific faith based evidence. It’s the perfect example of why atheism is an emotional worldview rather than an intellectual one
God bless and great blog topic.
