The headline “Obama to Pay Pro-Lifer $120,000 For Frivolous Prosecution” is totally off base and incorrect. At first glance it leads one to believe that President Obama is personally going to pay $120,000. The actual article states: Obama’s Justice Department Agrees to Pay $120,000.00 To Pro-Life Protestor Over Frivolous Prosecution. Those words “Justice Department” but the story in a completely different light. If The National Catholic Register is stooping so low as to misrepresent the news to meet some political agenda, then can it be trusted to accurately guide Catholics seeking the truth about the glory of our faith? Does this not make it as vile as the National Catholic Reporter? For shame! This is the second article within a week that deceptively presented an issue, the previous being the one about the UK government and a person right to wear a crucifix.
Defender,
Nobody thought Obama was paying Pro-Lifers out of his own pocket. If he ever did anything so glorious, the world would crumble.
