Christopher West

Joan Frawley Desmond has written this excellent article for the Register about the controversy over Christopher West’s interpretation of Pope John Paul II’s theology of the body.

One of her sources for the article was Ave Maria theologian Michael Waldstein, translator of Man and Woman He Created Them: A Theology of the Body, who has defended West’s approach to the subject. In an article posted today by Headline Bistro, Waldstein again defends West against criticisms made by another prominent Catholic — David Schindler, provost/dean of the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family.

Go here to read what Waldstein has to say.
