It’s timely, given the release this month of Dan Brown’s latest potboiler, The Lost Symbol, which reportedly portrays Masonic beliefs in a largely sympathetic light — in contrast to the false and defamatory accusations Brown leveled against the Church in his previous two books, The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons.
