Australian-born writer and public relations expert Joanne Bergamin has been living and working in Rome for the last 10 years, most of them inside the Vatican. She can now be found either trying to be a good @SwissGuardWife, blogging at travelangel.me, or assisting aspiring young entrepreneurs from her desk at the Institute for Entrepreneurship, John Cabot University.

Before moving to Rome, Joanne worked in marketing and public relations in the mining and energy industries throughout Australasia. She holds a B.A. in German and organizational behavior and a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing and human resources from the University of Queensland, where she also graduated with an M.B.A. in organizational change. Once in Rome, she completed a Diploma of Theology at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas.
