The Vatican has been mostly silent about Ron Howard’s film version of Dan Brown’s novel Angels & Demons. Until now.

Reuters reported today that the Vatican newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano, has published two editorials prompted by the film’s premiere in Rome on Monday.

According to Reuters, “The editorials neither panned nor praised the film but rather offered up a mix of positive and negative comments.”
