Cardinal Edward Egan of New York says this image could be worth more than any words, in highlighting the tragedy of abortion.

Nearly 50 million unborn lives have been lost in America to legal abortion since 1973.

Here’s what Cardinal Egan has asked Americans to do as they prepare to exercise their democratic responsibilities in tomorrow’s elections:

“Do me a favor. Look at the photograph again. Look and decide with honesty and decency what the Lord expects of you and me as the horror of ‘legalized’ abortion continues to erode the honor of our nation. Look, and do not absolve yourself if you refuse to act.”
